(This is my first attempt at poetry, please bare with me.)
It happened so fast,
It could have been nothing,
But it was everything.
The Earth kept spinning carelessly,
The Sun kept shining ignorantly,
The wind kept blowing insensibly;
Whilst a heart stopped,
A breath clenched,
Some steps halted.
Blood rushed madly out of the heart
as some words ceased mid-sentence.
It was rapid but firm.
Couldn’t be mistaken for a mistake.
She stood in the middle of the bazaar petrified.
Did a man just grope her?
